Hi All,
We work closely with the shops in Swadlincote town centre and with the weather picking up, half term just gone, and us fast approaching the summer holidays can parents please remind their children to conduct themselves politely and respectfully in public. Petty theft amongst our younger community has noticeably spiked during the warmer weather. If shop owners, managers, assistants or security ask children to leave a store it will be for good reason, whether that be due to their behaviour, them attempting to steal, and steal, or are with other children who have previous for the above. Shops can ban anyone, and members of staff are to be respected if they ask a group or an individual to leave.
Kind Regards, PCSO LUNNUN 13062. | ||
